E-mail: carlton13357@yahoo.com 		I was a student of Shorin-Ryu, for almost two years before my school closed. I was very sad to see the school close, but am estatic to see there is a web-site dedicated now to the style.

My sensi was a former marine stationed in Okinawa in the 60's, who brought it back to our area. If it hadn't been so many years since the school closed I would have loved to fly down to FL to complete my training.

[Sensei Shinzato (who take karate to brazil) death in 01/13/2008, Brazil will never be the same again!

E-mail: olddefiance@comcast.net 		I was hoping someone could help me with this question. In 1969 I was stationed in Okinawa with the 555 Medical Hospital. I studied Shorin-Ryu Karate under Sensei Mr. Shemaboko. We trained at a local High School on a army base in the middle of the island near the Shorin Castle.
I am wondering if Sensei Shemaboko is still with us today. I am not sure on the spelling of his name. I have been pricing airline tickets to Okinawa and would like to see the entire island again. Thank you for any info . A.R.s***
